One Industry. Transforming Kenya

After a successful inaugural Banking Research Conference in 2012, The Centre for Research on Financial Markets and Policy at the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) launched a Working Paper Series to disseminate preliminary findings of the banking sector research that was sponsored by the Association. There were 10 research presentations made at the conference; three of which were published during December 2012 as the first set of papers in the series.

The KBA Centre for Research on Financial Markets and Policy sponsors authors from various institutions including: Central Bank of Kenya; the Kenya School of Monetary Studies; Strathmore Business School; Kenyatta University; Egerton University; International Monetary Fund; and the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) among others.
